The origins of Fiorucci delve back to the 1850s in Norcia, where Innocenzo Fiorucci, a local butcher, would travel to Rome each winter to sell Norcinetto, a delightful dry sausage from his hometown. Following a prosperous career as a traveling salesman, Innocenzo decided to settle in Rome, opening a shop that specialized in the traditional art of curing meats.

One of Innocenzo’s innovative sons, Cesare, envisioned creating a network of Norcinerie, or Norcia-style meat shops. His initiative quickly garnered popularity throughout Rome, realizing the Fiorucci family's aspiration to deliver mouthwatering products to consumers worldwide.

To further this dream, Norcinerie joined forces with Campofrio Food Group, a leading international meat processor, enabling the authentic Italian delicacies to reach a global audience.
