The history of Fiorucci dates back to the 1850s when Innocenzo Fiorucci, a small meat shop owner in Norcia, would travel to Rome each winter to sell Norcinetto, a delicious dry sausage from his hometown. After years of successful sales, Innocenzo settled in Rome and opened his own shop specializing in the traditional preparation of cured meats.
Cesare, one of Innocenzo's forward-thinking sons, established a chain of Norcinerie (Norcia-style meat shops) that became quite popular in Rome. From there, the Fiorucci family's vision of providing delectable products to people worldwide became a reality.
The Norcinerie joined forces with Campofrio Food Group, an international meat processing group, to spread the story of these authentic Italian delicacies around the globe.
